One of the best way for you to learn writing is by writing a simple spot report.  Spot report, though it might be technical, the facts presented are easy to arrange in paragraph form.  it is actually a form of narrative English essay because you will be narrating the incident in a chronological manner.

The five “W” and “H” questions should be filled only and after gathering these information all you have to do now is to write it in a chronological order.  The first sentence should be the most important thing that had happen in the event.

Let us try the example below:

What: vehicular accident. This includes the type of car, the plate number and what happened to the drivers and passengers.

Who:  obviously, this refers to all the persons involved in the incident.

Where: this is the place or the address where the incident occurred.

When: time

Why: the reason behind the incident

How: how the incident happen

Now, from the example above, you can now write a simple spot report.  Again this is only an example and so I will just write the spot report as simple as possible, but giving emphasis on the facts above.

SPOT REPORT

On or about 250830H September 09 a vehicular incident occurred within the vicinity of highway 54.  A passenger vehicle with plate number ###### driven by Mr. SOso and a Toyota with plate no. ##### driven by Mr. SEse collided in the corner of highway 54 and 56.  Both drivers and passenger were rush to the general hospital for.

There are other details to be included here but since this is just an example, I hope I am able to write the report based on the facts above.  You too can learn how to write spot report, just gather the facts and write it in a paragraph form.

The global financial problem started to manifest by mass lay off of workers.  Even the internationally acclaimed Intel Corporation is affected by the crisis and the Intel CEO disclosed their restructuring scheme, and one of the actions is to lay off workers.

The business which is under the pressure of this global crisis is the pre-need business.  Educational plan, health and death plans, and other types of pre-need plans are now experiencing a down fall in the suppose to be benefits of the plan holders.  Though the downfall had seen to occur a fews months more, the media had triggered the plan holders to panic on what will happen if the crisis continues.

One of the suppose to be solutions is to avail a loan from the bank and other financial institutions, but the these companies also are affected of the financial.  Thus, they become strict if not totally control the borrowing scheme so as not to drain their stocks.  We all know that banks and other financial institutions play a vital role in the business sector.  Their incoming deposits seem to go down too.  Obviously, people tend to save money in their pocket for future use.

It is a chain reaction.  Since it started from the big business institutions all those within that business especially those individual manning the business are the most affected ones.  And the worst, those people in the third world countries where they rely mostly of their resources to other countries will feel including the smallest residue of this global financial crisis.

Do we have something to offer to ease the problem? Absolutely none.  The first and foremost to sacrifice are those huge companies and cost cutting scheme by way of reducing the number of manpower will the best and immediate action to be done.
